My husband and I stayed at The Palms January 7 & 8 2012. I don't watch much TV in Vegas but-no flat screen? Even Four Queens ( where we spent. Room service carts-with half eaten food and who knows what else- were left in the hallway constantly! Doesn't anyone come to get those? That is just GROSS! The carpet was stained and-even though we gone for most of the day-our room was NEVER cleaned! Also, the beds were lumpy. The nice Aveedo toiletries the Palms used to have were replaced with some nasty, cheap stuff and the towels were getting thin and worn. Sadly, our last visit was just that-our LAST.įirst: The Palms Tower rooms are old and worn out. He went to a bit of trouble to ensure my reservations, and I DO thank him for that. He was able to book my comped rooms during the CES. The only thing I can compliment The Palms on was host Al Deleon.
I understand that new management took over, but if they are trying to destroy what once was a fun and beautiful resort-they're succeeding! We have stayed there quite a bit over the past several years ( sometimes 2x a year ) but I have a hunch this will be the last time we stay / play at The Palms.
